Hello! I’m Joe Ramirez, a licensed C-10 electrical contractor with over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry. As a third-generation electrician, I’ve gained valuable insights and skills throughout my career. While I have a solid background in commercial and industrial electrical work, my true passion lies in residential electrical projects, especially new constructions and home remodels.

In January 2016, my wife and I founded our company, illectric Inc. Our journey into entrepreneurship has been both exciting and challenging. For the first 16 years of my career, I had the privilege of working alongside my uncle, whom I affectionately called “Guy.” He was an incredible mentor, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise in the electrical trade. His ability to tackle complex problems was truly inspiring.

We had planned to gradually transition from working with Guy to establishing our own business after I obtained my electrical contractor's license in November 2015. However, life took an unexpected turn when Guy passed away on January 2, 2016. This event propelled us to act quickly and start our own venture, as we could not take over his business due to legal reasons.

With the experience and craftsmanship I gained from those years with Guy, my wife and I launched illectric in Menifee, CA, on January 15, 2016. We knew the road ahead would be challenging, especially without a formal business plan. However, with faith and determination, we navigated those early days, trusting that our path was being guided. We are grateful for the support we’ve received and remain committed to delivering quality electrical services to our community.

Together, Samantha and I have 4 children.

Final Score: 2 Girls & 2 Boys.  We have been married since 2010 & love being able to spend time together as a family.
