My name is Joe Ramirez, Owner and Licensed Electrical Contractor of illectric, Inc. I am a California C-10 electrical contractor with over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry. As a third-generation electrician, I’ve spent my career developing strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep respect for quality craftsmanship.

While my background includes commercial and industrial electrical work, my true passion lies in residential electrical services, particularly new construction, remodels, and service upgrades. I take pride in delivering clean, code-compliant work that homeowners can trust.

In January 2016, my wife and I founded illectric, Inc. The decision to start our own company came sooner than expected due to the unexpected passing of my uncle and mentor, whom I worked alongside for the first 16 years of my career. He was an exceptional electrician whose knowledge, work ethic, and ability to solve complex challenges shaped the foundation of my career. His influence continues to guide how we operate today.

Although we originally planned a gradual transition into business ownership after I obtained my contractor’s license in November 2015, circumstances required us to take a leap of faith. On January 15, 2016, illectric was officially established in Menifee, California. Without a formal business plan, but with faith, determination, and perseverance, we trusted that God was guiding our steps. We remain grateful for His provision and direction, and we strive to honor Him through integrity, honesty, and excellence in our work.

My wife, Samantha Ramirez, serves as Operations Manager and plays a vital role in the success of illectric. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, scheduling, and customer communication, she manages social media, marketing, and brand partnerships, helping grow illectric beyond traditional electrical services while maintaining strong relationships within our community and industry.

Together, we operate illectric as a family-owned and operated business. We are the proud parents of four children — two girls and two boys — and have been married since 2010. Family is at the heart of everything we do, and our faith continues to shape how we live, work, and serve others.
